Courses and collaborations

My teaching experience

I’ve undertaken a variety of collaborations and courses which are recorded in my CV.  Courses for small groups of relatively new or more advanced artists have been especially rewarding.  My aim is to inspire participants to work in a more intuitive, expressive way; to be less rigid and avoid too clear a visualisation of the finished image while recognising the need for a disciplined approach.  Please contact me if you are interested in a future course which could be held in my Berlin Atelier or elsewhere.

“Integrity of expression reverberates in her work and adds to its communicative power.  She has developed a compelling personal language of expression through which she communicates her perspective on her environment.”

John Griffiths
Art Critic

“The images reflect the inner self as opposed to the visible world. This makes the images more intriguing while also making them more emotive. She asks question of her own Self and the nature of relationship.”

Exhibition review

“Margaret Hunter’s art is motivated by her committed belief in the continuous psychological bond, as expressed by human creativity, between our pre-civilised pantheistic origins and the post-modern pluralistic world we have made for ourselves.”
